ABA-Compliant IT & Legal Software for Phoenix Law Firms
Secure IT infrastructure, practice management software implementation, and ABA cybersecurity compliance for Phoenix law firms. We know Clio, NetDocuments, Relativity, and what ABA Formal Opinion 477R actually requires.
Why Law Firms Can't Use a General MSP
General IT providers don't know what Relativity is, can't configure IOLTA-compliant trust accounting, and won't catch PHI in discovery files. We serve healthcare practices and law firms exclusively — these are the only environments we configure.
ABA 477R Compliance
Every engagement includes a cybersecurity assessment aligned to ABA Formal Opinion 477R and Arizona state bar guidance.
Privilege Architecture
Document management configured with matter-level permissions so confidential data can never leak to opposing counsel or outside the matter team.
IOLTA & Trust Accounting
Billing and trust accounting software integrated with proper audit trails — required by Arizona state bar rules and malpractice carriers.
Legal Software Expertise
Hands-on implementation experience with Clio, NetDocuments, iManage, Relativity, Westlaw, and a dozen other legal platforms — not first-time configurations on your dime.
Legal Software We Implement & Support
Full implementation, migration, training, and ongoing support — all secured with Entra ID SSO and reviewed for ABA compliance before go-live.

ABA-Aligned Security Services
Specific compliance and security work for firms that need to demonstrate due diligence to clients, malpractice carriers, or state bar audits.
ABA Cybersecurity Assessment
Comprehensive assessment aligned to ABA Formal Opinion 477R and Arizona state bar cybersecurity guidance. Delivers a written report with prioritized remediation — required by most malpractice carriers and increasingly by enterprise clients.
Entra ID SSO Integration
Single sign-on for all practice management software so attorneys use one MFA-protected identity instead of per-app passwords. Directly addresses ABA Model Rule 1.1 competence obligations for access management.
BYOD Policy & Intune Enforcement
Written BYOD policy and Microsoft Intune enforcement for personal devices — app protection, selective wipe capability, and compliance reporting. Required for any firm where attorneys use personal phones for client communication.
Encrypted Client Portal
End-to-end encrypted client portal for document sharing and sensitive communication — replacing unsecured email for attorney-client correspondence and meeting ABA Model Rule 1.6 confidentiality obligations.

Law Firm IT Questions
Why does a law firm need specialized IT instead of a general MSP?
Law firms have specific obligations under ABA Formal Opinion 477R, Arizona state bar rules, and sometimes HIPAA (personal injury, workers' comp). A general MSP won't know what Relativity is, can't configure IOLTA-compliant trust accounting, and won't catch PHI in discovery files. We serve healthcare practices and law firms exclusively — these are the only environments we configure.
What does the ABA Formal Opinion 477R assessment cover?
It evaluates the eight factors the ABA uses to assess competent cybersecurity: sensitivity of information, likelihood of disclosure, cost of additional safeguards, client instructions, extent of harm if disclosed, duty to communicate, duty to consult, and available technology alternatives. We deliver a written report with prioritized remediation steps — the format malpractice carriers and enterprise clients expect.
Can you migrate our data from our current practice management system?
Yes. We handle structured data migrations from legacy systems — whether you're moving from a server-based PM system, a legacy DMS, or a network file share. All migrations include a rollback plan and a validation checklist before cutover. We don't flip the switch until the data is verified.
How do you protect attorney-client privilege in a cloud DMS?
Through workspace-level permissions, matter-specific access controls, retention policies, and litigation hold configurations. For NetDocuments and iManage, we configure security at the matter level so only the assigned team can access a workspace. We also audit sharing settings to eliminate accidental external access before go-live.
Do you handle software licensing for Clio, NetDocuments, etc.?
No — licensing is between you and the vendor. We provide vendor-neutral guidance on platform selection (Clio vs. MyCase vs. Filevine, NetDocuments vs. iManage, etc.), then handle all implementation, integration, and configuration. Your vendor relationship and pricing stays direct.
What about AI legal research tools — are those part of your scope?
Yes. We implement and integrate AI legal research platforms including Casetext CoCounsel, Harvey AI, Lexis+ AI, and Westlaw Precision. Every AI implementation includes a bar compliance review and attorney training on ABA Model Rule 1.1 AI supervision obligations. See our AI Services page for the full scope.
What ongoing support do you provide after implementation?
Monthly support and optimization is standard — software updates, user adds and offboards, ABA compliance monitoring, help desk for attorneys and staff, and ongoing backup verification. Most law firms have at least one IT issue per week; we handle them so attorneys can stay billable.
